How is the precoating done? Is it by Spray Painting?
SPSL uses "Three Roller Coating Technology" for precoating of sheets. This ensures smooth and uniform coating as compared to conventional time consuming and non-efficient Spray Painting process.

Can precoated steel be drawn?
Yes. Technical developments are required to adapt the form of the part, define the steel grade and coating quality. Several high-performance tooling solutions are available that allow us to draw parts without caulking. For example, engine oil filters, which involve a significant amount of drawing, are made using precoated steel.

Is Precoated Steel corrosion resistant ?
Yes.The same paint coating is used on both sides of precoated steel, giving it a good electro-chemical balance and thus excellent anti- corrosion properties. It offers far better cathodic protection than conventional galvanized steel, as well as much longer service life than post-coated galvanized steel (while also preserving its high-quality finish).

Is Precoated Steel approved by an official organization ?
Precoated Steel products from SPSL are confirming to International Standards like JIS, ASTM, EN, etc. We are ISO certified company with ISO 9001 certificate from DNV, Netherlands. We are the member of European Coil Coating Association (ECCA).
